Description
The 8100 Series from Transmille is the most advanced multimeter available on the market. Featuring a full-color screen, the 8100 Series offers a wide range of functionality and covers a wide range of input parameters while achieving breakthrough performance. The 8100 is a significant improvement on previous technologies and remains at an affordable price point.
High Performance Design
The 8100 Series is aimed at laboratories, manufacturers and design facilities requiring a wide range of measurement parameters with specifications as low as 4ppm. The 8100 is designed with metrologists in mind, with great care taken in the design of sensitive input electronics.
Ultra low input bias current on DC Voltage inputs minimise errors when utilised as a null meter with Resistive Dividers, and High Input Impedance on AC Voltage up to 10V reduces errors when measuring current through use of current shunts to enable the 8100 Series ensuring reliable measurements across multiple functions.
Dynamic display of accuracy, measurement uncertainty, standard deviation and more provide metrologists with immediate feedback of their measurement and enable users to maximise performance while improving confidence in measurements.


Software Compatability
The 8100 Series features an advanced command set including emulation modes for popular remote languages. This enables the 8100 Series to be used with Legacy metrology software that does not yet support Transmille equipment.
As with all Transmille products, compatibility with ProCal calibration software is guaranteed.

Advanced Measurement Functions
The 8100 Series has been optimised for use with Transmille’s range of AC/ DC current shunts enabling DC and offset parameters to be entered in providing direct measurement of applied current on the screen. The 8100 simultaneously measures the voltage and frequency and performs a real time correction based upon the AC/DC difference at the current frequency and the value of the shunt.
The high input impedance of the 8100 series below 10V AC removes the requirement for buffer amplifiers minimising sources of errors and simplifying connections.

10 Channel Low Thermal Scanner (Model 8500)
The model 8500 is a 10 Channel Low Thermal Scanner Automation of measurements using the 8500 Low Thermal Scanner and PROGRAPH software allows a complete multi-channel measurement system to be easily realized. Each channel provides very low thermal 4 terminal switching, making it ideal for 4 wire resistance and thermometry measurements.

Specialty Thermocouple Test Lead (TCLEAD)
Transmille makes a custom Thermocouple test lead for use with the 8081. This lead allows the mV of a thermocouple from a mini plug to be entered into the front of the DMM, while an integrated 4 wire PRT is being simultaneously measured at the rear terminals of the DMM.
This allows any thermocouple type to be measured accurately and easily with the Transmille 8000 Series, another unique function of our DMM.
Standard Platinum Resistance Thermometers (SPRTS)
Metal-sheathed, high-stability SPRTS from -80°C to 670°C are available.
Adding one of these probes to your 8000 series makes it a high end thermometry measurement system.
Graphing and Datalogging Measurement Software (PROGRAPH)
PROGRAPH Software is a complete measurement analysis utility with built-in virtual front panel for the 8000 series DMM.
Prograph includes: scanner control, trend analysis, simultaneous graphical display of 10 channels, and easy data export to Microsoft Excel.
Carrying and Shipping cases
Designed for carrying the 8000 Series DMM when working on-site, the soft carry case includes side pockets, a large top pocket, and carry strap.
Rugged Shipping (Pelican Style) cases are available for all products as well
Precision Lead Set (8000 LEAD)
A comprehensive set of test leads and adapters is provided in this option lead set to cover requirements from low-level DC through high current and high resistance measurements.
The leads and materials supplied in this measurement set have been carefully selected to minimize connection/lead errors. The safety of the lead set is ensured by the use of non-retractable shrouded connectors for the voltage lead set.
Rack Mounting Systems
Multiple rack mounting options available, including slide trays, rack mount ears that attach to the front of the 8104 and full rack systems.
